Kellie Martin is an American actor and actress on television and film. She is most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series 'Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Other notable roles include the title role of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting journey began when she was just seven when her aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' When she graduated of Yale University she began to take acting seriously and landed roles on the smaller screen as well as on the big. Martin as well as acting, she is also a skilled photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died from Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
